Behind SORA 8 stands Elli & Sandro — an international developer duo combining European structure, global design influence, and East African soul.
With roots and experience across Kenya, Switzerland, Italy, Dubai, and Asia, they bring together backgrounds in real estate, hospitality, investments, fashion, and luxury customer experience. Their shared vision is to create timeless spaces that feel elegant, natural, and emotionally connected to their surroundings.
Elli brings a refined aesthetic eye and deep understanding of atmosphere, design, and lifestyle, while Sandro contributes over 20 years of international experience in real estate, investments, and business development across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Together through SAKHEM International Ltd., they focus on building boutique projects with lasting value — combining architecture, privacy, nature, and modern luxury into one seamless living experience.

Powerhouse Company
SORA 8 was designed in collaboration with the internationally recognized Dutch studio Powerhouse Company — an international architectural firm rooted in Rotterdam, with offices in Oslo, Munich, and Nairobi.
Founded in 2005, the studio has grown into a multidisciplinary team of over 100 architects and designers known for creating timeless, human-centered architecture that balances aesthetics, functionality, privacy, and nature.
Rather than designing for short-term visual impact, Powerhouse Company focuses on spaces that feel natural, adaptable, and emotionally connected to the people living in them.
Robyne brings a human and cultural approach to architecture, inspired by travel, art, hospitality, and lifestyle. Her work focuses on creating spaces that feel warm, timeless, and emotionally connected.
Maarten specializes in transforming ideas into strong architectural concepts rooted in simplicity, adaptability, and comfort. His philosophy is to create buildings that “just feel right” — calm, beautiful, and effortless to live in.
